Mommy's thinking. All. by. herself.

Yay. School started yesterday and as a pre-k student, Julia will go from 8 until 3pm. It is 10:30 am and I haven't answered any questions since 8:05; in fact, I haven't even spoken. This is what I have done, however:

I wanted to take a minute and explain this weirdness that is beta blogger. I switched over last week under the guise of categories. This is not actually possible and now I can't comment on a non-beta blogger site. Well, sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. They say it won't be long but who knows, really? So, I just wanted to apologize and beseech all to stick around or switch to beta. Be forewarned: there is still no category option!

I was quite excited to learn of the categories. Hmm, I thought, I would love to be able to categorize my thoughts like over at typepad; if you wanted a specific recipe, bam! a Julia anecdote, bam! love stories, bam! Instead, I got locked out of commenting on others' beautiful and witty posts.

I would so totally throw a tantrum, if there were someone around. I'm alone though, so I guess a silent tantrum with my latte will have to suffice.

This just in...you can have categories, I mean labels! yeehaw and whoo hoo. you will lose whatever ads you currently sport in the process but, categories, I mean labels!

Thanks for letting me know about poppies in provence - it's great that she's still writing. What is beta blogger, this is the first I've heard about it? Have fun with your child-free mornings!

I just had to comment about your comment over at Julia's. You said something about your daughter learning her letters in numbers and I had to share a story. I did that for YEARS - when I wasn't paying attention I would write down numbers rather than letters (not in their actuall order though)... for example, I tried to write "GTE", which was our old phone company, and looked down and I had written "673" instead. And this was in highschool! :-)
